Actually i dug the web for something similar to what you are talking about for java. I also consulted the both the dot net and the Java team in my workplace. We all know what assumptions lead to! :)&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;My next question and this because I don't know much about Java but why not use trusted connection strings with JDBC like you would with c#?
